In Karpea we believe that the information on the olive oil & olives we provide, has an immediate priority and we enable traceability of each product produced and traded in the market, from the grove to the final consumer.
Karpea started the Traceability system in a pilot phase with 2017-2018 olive crop & launches it officially with the beginning of 2018-2019 olive crop.

What is traceability
“Traceability” is the ability to track any food through all stages of production, processing and distribution. Traceability means that movements can be traced one step backwards (from consumer to source) and one step forward (from source to consumer) at any point in the supply chain. Traceability is considered a critical factor for the transparency and quality of agri-food products.
