Did you know that olive oil is just as useful outside the kitchen? Check out some smart and useful tips on how to use it.
1. Ice cubes of fresh herbs with olive oil
You collect the fresh herbs of your choice, wash them slightly and let them drain. Chop them and then make the combinations of herbs you would like to have in your various dishes! Place them in ice packs and fill with oil. After freezing, the oil congeals and takes on the appearance of butter. Once the olive oil ice cubes are ready, remove them from the ice packs and store them in airtight plastic bags.
2. Make-up removal
If you’ve run out of makeup remover lotion or want an all-natural way to remove makeup, put some olive oil on a cotton pad and gently rub your face, even your eyes. You can, in fact, mix equal amounts of almond oil and olive oil and, in addition to removing make-up, offer nourishment to your eyelashes.
3. Anti-Split Ends Treatment
A little oil on the ends of the hair for half an hour, moisturizes and protects your hair.
4. Soften the cuticles on the nails
Rub gently, massaging the cuticles to soften, then continue as you know, your manicure and pedicure.
5. Nail treatment
Heat some olive oil, let it cool, add a few drops of olive oil and massage the mixture. Do not rinse.
6. Against cracked heels
First rub the heels with a pumice stone and apply a quantity of olive oil. Put on your pretty socks and leave it on all night.
Eat a tablespoon of olive oil before bed, it lubricates the neck muscles and tonsils.
8. Refresh your bags
Moisten a soft cloth with a little olive oil and wipe your bags with it. It also removes … scratches. They will look new!
9. Shine the shoes
Take a cloth, pour some olive oil and rub your leather shoes.
10. Remove the dye from the skin
Rub olive oil on your skin along with a little salt or sugar. The dye will be gone and your skin will be left clean and soft!
11. Whiten your teeth
Put 1 tbsp. olive oil in your mouth and keep it for 5′ a day. Then spit it out. As the days go by, make sure to keep the olive oil in your mouth for up to 20′ to get more benefits for your health.
12. Polish the furniture
Add 1 tbsp. olive oil in a ¼ cup. lemon juice and you have a very good furniture polish.
13. Polish the metal objects
Put olive oil on a clean cloth and polish your metal objects. They will shine!
14. Remove stickers from surfaces
Put olive oil on a clean cloth and clean surfaces with stickers.
15. To unzip
Put some olive oil on a cotton swab and place it on the stuck zipper, then gently pull up or down to loosen it.
16. Remove the melted wax from the candlesticks
Put olive oil on a cloth and rub on the spot where there is wax. Leave it for a while and scrape carefully.
17. Reduces squeaks
A little oil on the hinges will solve the annoying squeaks.
18. Solution for stretch marks
Get rid of annoying stretch marks with the miracle solution that we all have in our kitchen: slightly warm a quantity of olive oil and apply it on the stretch marks, with gentle, circular movements until it is completely absorbed by the skin.
19. For ear pain
Heat some olive oil and dip a cotton swab in it. Carefully place the swab in the ear so that a few drops fall. Provides great pain relief!
