Orange pie with Olive Oil and Cinnamon







Ingredients for a 25cm diameter pan

  • 200ml Karpea Gourmet orange olive oil
  • 300ml orange juice
  • 100ml water
  • 50ml vinegar
  • 600gr flour for all uses
  • 200gr powdered sugar
  • 2gr grated cloves
  • 10gr baking soda
  • 10gr zest from two cups

Execution Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the Karpea Gourmet orange olive oil, juice, water and vinegar.
  2. In another bowl, mix the sifted flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cloves, zest and cinnamon and pass them into the bowl with the liquid ingredients.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until it becomes a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Grease the pan with Karpea Gourmet orange olive oil and sprinkle it with flour.
  5. Put the mixture in the preheated oven and bake at 160 ° C for 60-70 minutes.
  6. We understand that the dessert is ready, if we dip the blade of a knife and it comes out dry, then the pie is ready.
  7. Remove it from the oven and after it cools down, cut it into the pieces you want.
